I love throwing open the windows to listen to the rain, but not so much for sirens.
I will mercilessly tickle my kids until they can not catch their breath because I love to hear them giggle.
Seeing couples hold hands while they walk makes my heart melt.
Watching sunlight stream in through my windows at sunset makes me wish I could make time stand still while I grab my kids and hold them close.
My heart has a weakness for pets in need of good homes. As a result, we have two dogs, three cats, one hamster and two tanks of fish along with the vet bills to show for it.

I am not above chopping up vegetables really small and sneaking them into dinners, brownies or cakes.
I love to travel and meet up with friends for weekends that ultimately fly by too fast.
I love that my daughter will ask to say a prayer when she hears an ambulance siren.
I don't like crowds and do my best to avoid them.
If my kids misbehave, I feed them veggies until they shape up. It normally doesn't take long to see an improvement.
My husband is the best. I can not imagine having a better partner, friend and father to my children to walk through this life.
I am blessed in more ways than I could ever deserve.
Photographs have always played a big part in my life. As a child, my Mom spent hours not only updating photo albums, but sitting with me and looking through them at all of the pictures of our family. Today, my house is filled with photographs old and new.
